This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create engaging content and copy in both German and English, including blog posts, white papers, customer case studies, social media posts, sales enablement materials, and email campaigns.
• Take ownership of the editorial calendar in close collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams, focusing on lead generation and brand enhancement.
• Continuously update and optimize local website content.
• Establish and maintain relationships with technology and business media in your market — pitching story ideas, coordinating press releases, and managing media coverage.
• Manage internal communications for the local team, ensuring alignment with global messaging and company culture.
• Plan, organize, and execute local events such as trade shows, webinars, and partner activations.
• Ensure a strong brand presence at key B2B events in your market — targeting around 15 carefully selected events each year.
• Oversee and expand the brand's social media presence (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) through organic campaigns, aiming for a minimum of two posts each week.
• Monitor campaign performance against KPIs using analytics tools and continuously refine strategies based on data.
• Tailor the go-to-market strategy to your specific market and its buyer personas.
• Serve as the primary liaison between global marketing and your local market — providing local insights, highlighting market nuances, and ensuring the effectiveness of global initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership — aligning local marketing efforts and ensuring the needs of your market are understood across the organization.
• Localize global campaigns for your market — going beyond mere translation to adapt messaging, channels, formats, and timing to local behaviors and cultural contexts.
• Brief, manage, and ensure quality control of a network of external partners (creative, PR, events, media buying) in close coordination with the central marketing team.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in marketing communications, PR, or content marketing, preferably in B2B tech or SaaS — a background in fintech or expense management is highly advantageous.
• Fluent in German (C2 level or equivalent) and possesses strong English language skills.
• Proven experience in PR, content production, and event management.
• Proficient with digital marketing tools including LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, and CRM/marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Strong editorial instincts — capable of crafting messages that resonate with B2B audiences.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable working independently in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• Demonstrated ability to localize (not just translate) international campaigns — adapting strategy, tone, channel mix, and creative elements to suit local contexts.
• Experience in contributing to annual go-to-market plans: able to create a local market brief and influence the global strategy.
• Strong cross-functional communicator: equally comfortable engaging with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership, and able to translate those discussions into cohesive marketing actions.
• Experience managing external agencies (PR, creative, events, media) and coordinating with internal growth teams.
• A background in fintech, spend management, or related B2B financial software is a significant differentiator.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
• Flexible working arrangements, including remote work options.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Health and wellness programs.
