This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in managing NMF’s Instagram and LinkedIn accounts — overseeing comments, interacting with followers, and ensuring a cohesive brand voice.
• Create and schedule social media content in HeyOrca, aligning with the campaign calendar and thematic content.
• Identify emerging trends, follower engagement, and potential opportunities for team collaboration.
• Aid in the development of NMF’s Story Bank — an expanding collection of narratives from scholars, alumni, and stakeholders that enhance communications across various channels.
• Conduct outreach to scholars and alumni to solicit story submissions; manage the #MYNMFStory UGC campaign.
• Organize, categorize, and maintain story assets to ensure they are easily accessible for email, social media, and event-related content.
• Review and restructure the MarCom shared Google Drive — creating a clear, logical folder system and consistent labeling standards.
• Develop and maintain a straightforward asset index to enable the team to quickly find brand materials, campaign content, and approved text.
• Assist with file management and version control as new content is created.
• Help draft and edit copy for email newsletters, event promotions, and campaign materials.
• Provide support for special projects related to the 80th Anniversary campaign as required.
• A current undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate, specializing in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related discipline.
• A candidate with a genuine passion for healthcare, nonprofit work, or social impact.
• An effective writer who communicates clearly and adjusts tone appropriately for different platforms.
• Highly organized and self-motivated — adept at juggling multiple tasks in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn as professional networking platforms.
• Proficiency in Social Media Tools (IG, Reels), WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite preferred; experience with Canva, Google Workspace, or social scheduling tools is an advantage.
• A stipend of $3,600 will be provided for the summer (8 weeks).
• Payment will be made in installments: $1,200 upon completion of week 2, $1,200 upon completion of week 5, and $1,200 upon completion of week 8, alongside the return of applicable equipment and/or deliverables.
