This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develops and distributes communication messages to VIP users and affiliated organizations regarding updates to J6 IT services, scheduled outages, approved service interruptions, and IT project timelines.
• Promptly notifies relevant Government Points of Contact (POCs) and VIP users about system outages using Government-supplied tools.
• Coordinates outreach communications for VIPs independently in support of the VIP Support Division.
• Monitors calls through Interactive Client software and manages customer emails directed to the VIP mailbox.
• Analyzes trends in VIP ticket submissions to proactively identify communication opportunities that may help in reducing repetitive VIP incidents through targeted messaging.
• Prepares reports and presentations for VIP Support leadership concerning communication activities, engagement metrics, and user feedback.
• Collaborates with the J6 CE Division on enterprise-level communications that impact VIP users.
• Assists in answering VIP calls using the Interactive Client software and responds to customer inquiries in the VIP team mailbox.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance at the time of award.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of directly related professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional experience in strategic communications, technical writing, or organizational communications within a Government or DoD setting.
• Prior experience supporting a DoD or J6 customer environment is highly preferred.
• Certifications in ITIL v4 Foundations and CompTIA Security+.
• Specialized expertise in organizational communications and technical writing, enabling the clear and effective translation of J6 operational events into targeted communications for VIPs.
• Strong customer service skills with proven experience in supporting executive or VIP-level communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; proven capacity to articulate information clearly and concisely to varied senior audiences.
• Familiarity with SharePoint communications platforms is preferred.
