Communications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create Executive Summaries

• Comprehend and assist with urgent timelines related to contract transitions

• Formulate and implement a strategic communications plan

• Review and enhance current member communication

• Design and produce new materials aimed at members

• Facilitate cross-functional communication initiatives

• Establish feedback mechanisms and align services with the existing eNews contract

• Conduct technical edits, quality assurance checks, and 508 compliance evaluations on publications

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as digital marketing, communications, or public affairs

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in strategic communication, encompassing the development of communication plans, marketing, writing, and stakeholder engagement

• Highly detail-oriented and organized; adept at managing deadlines and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both technical and in plain language

• Capability to perform meticulous technical edits on documents of varying lengths

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint

• Experience in managing Section 508 compliance efforts, including fundamental 508 knowledge, tagging, and using Adobe Acrobat accessibility tools

• Background in Stakeholder Management and navigating contract transitions

• Familiarity with health plans.
