Marketing and Business Development Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement social media content across various client accounts.

• Develop and schedule email marketing campaigns utilizing Mailchimp.

• Craft high-quality, original copy tailored to diverse audiences (e.g., architects versus industrial clients).

• Edit and revise client marketing materials using Adobe InDesign.

• Create supporting visual content through Canva.

• Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all client communications.

• Ensure all written content is human-generated and adheres to brand standards.

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns.

• Manage and sustain HubSpot CRM, including support for system migration.

• Produce polished, professional proposals using Better Proposals.

• Conduct warm outreach calls based on referrals (no cold calling).

• Facilitate initial screening calls with potential clients before transitioning to the Founder.

• Provide support for general marketing administration and reporting tasks.

• Assist with diary coordination and tracking of the sales pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a marketing executive role or a similar position.

• Strong background in social media management and email marketing, preferably with Mailchimp.

• Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign are essential.

• Proficient in Canva.

• Demonstrated copywriting skills with a solid understanding of tone-of-voice adaptation.

• Comfortable and confident in conducting video calls with clients based in the UK.

• Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar customer relationship management systems.

• Highly self-driven with the capability to work autonomously.

• Positive, professional, and engaging communication style.

• Access to a reliable laptop, stable high-speed internet connection, and a quiet workspace.

• Willingness to utilize a UK phone system (e.g., Zoom Phone).

• A portfolio showcasing previous marketing and design work is required as part of the application.
