This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take charge of the execution of ancillary RFPs for clients ranging from small to large groups, including both new business and renewals.
• Evaluate ancillary benefits and emphasize modifications in plan design, enhancements, and variations beyond simple price comparisons.
• Adhere to established best practices and Service Level Agreements to ensure timely and high-quality results for broker partners.
• Manage marketing opportunities within the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Cultivate relationships with both internal colleagues and external broker and carrier partners.
• Collect carrier underwriting guidelines, insights on plan administration, and compliance information for internal processes and broker education purposes.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives guided by strategic direction from leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a marketing analyst or carrier underwriting position.
• An active life, accident, and health license is necessary.
• Familiarity with ancillary products such as dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental health.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to organizational changes.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• A self-starter who can work with minimal oversight or guidance.
• Adaptable with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
• An inquisitive mindset and eagerness to learn.
• A team-oriented approach is essential.
• Required experience: 2–5 years in a relevant role.
