
Market Segment Sales Manager – Energy, Battery & Electrification

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Take ownership and lead the marketing and customer strategy for the Power Segment to drive profitable growth.
• Foster and manage customer relationships while creating and implementing tailored value propositions to enhance growth in existing accounts and seize new opportunities in target accounts.
• Strive for mutual growth with each customer to achieve sustainable sales and margin goals aligned with the budget.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of product capabilities, both current and potential, as well as operational capabilities, ensuring a balance between customer desires, needs, and production capabilities.
• Generate top-line revenue and enhance overall gross margin by expanding within existing accounts.
• Secure new business by qualifying leads and closing prospects.
• Provide precise sales forecasts for each customer.
• Formulate annual growth strategies and operating profit margin objectives for all products, supervising sales initiatives to achieve them.
• Propel new business growth and product innovation in both current and emerging market segments leveraging internal and external data.
• Sustain a collaborative relationship with Operations to fulfill sales forecasts and order requirements.
• Establish and advocate for the Engineered Materials Platform as a global leader in expanded materials.
• Utilize the CRM system (Clientlink/Salesforce) managed by Project Managers and staff to ensure all information is comprehensive and current.
• Oversee the Opportunity Module for reporting on Opportunity Sales Funnels and Forecast projections.
• Only US Citizens, Green Card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Management, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing is required.
• Previous experience in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or technical sales is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the battery sector or energy market is highly desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% is necessary.
