This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Executive Team in determining which 2-3 markets Auditless should focus on over the next three years—your research will shape our strategy to achieve $10M in revenue by 2029.

• Analyze 16 segments (VC funds, RE funds, SPVs, PE) utilizing SEC filings, DOL databases, Preqin, and PitchBook.

• Perform feasibility analysis: which markets are capable of supporting $10M in ARR with less than 15% market share?

• Map out the competitive landscape, identify distribution partners, and define buyer personas.

• Utilize AI tools to verify sources, validate methodologies, and ensure the quality of outputs.

• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to evaluate build complexity and technical requirements for each segment.

• Conduct 30-50 interviews with fund CFOs, GPs, auditors, and administrators.

• Rate markets based on pain severity, willingness to pay, and sales cycle duration.

• Confirm pricing and go-to-market assumptions with actual buyers.

• Present the final scored ranking to the CEO and COO, supported by defendable logic.

• Your recommendations will form our strategy for FY26-28.

⛳️ Requirements

• MBA Student.

• 2-5 years of consulting experience (MBB, Big 4, boutique), financial analyst, or similar roles with a background in market research—you excel at structuring ambiguous issues.

• Strong research perseverance (proficient with SEC filings, databases, and LinkedIn sourcing).

• Ability to synthesize information (convert 50 data points and conflicting interviews into clear recommendations).

• Interested in transitioning from consulting to a startup environment.

• Not mandatory: Technical background, accounting expertise, or prior startup experience.
