This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Analyze industry literature and research publications while maintaining a system for curating publications, competitive intelligence, and internal reports.
• Develop landscape summaries on topics pertinent to higher education, continuously updating them with new data and publications.
• Utilize third-party platforms to extract and summarize market data concerning programs and demographics.
• Assist Product Marketing by providing data summaries for program evaluations and exploring new programs or products.
• Perform in-depth, ad hoc research on market and competitive trends.
• Construct, maintain, and update data models from external data sources (e.g., IPEDS) using tools like Microsoft Fabric/PowerBI.
• Create and manage Python data ingestion notebooks in BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric.
• Leverage existing data models to monitor and summarize internal performance trends across products, segments, and demographics.
• Design and enhance reports and dashboards based on feedback, insights, and institutional objectives.
• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance analytic projects and tools while anticipating feedback.
• Present analysis results to diverse audiences in various formats.
• Employ project management software to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are critical aspects of this role.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in market research analytics and/or relevant domain knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
• Understanding of higher education industry terminology and data sources.
• Ability to build and update models and reports in Fabric/PowerBI, with intermediate proficiency in DAX and PowerQuery.
• Familiarity with Python notebooks.
• Experience with SQL for data querying and ETL processes.
• Proficient in Excel, capable of performing lookups and mathematical calculations.
• Experience in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations to a diverse range of audiences, from executives to individual contributors.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Outlook, and project management software.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data validation.
• Ability to responsibly utilize Artificial Intelligence for workflows, summarization, and analysis.
