Market Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Work in collaboration with the Market President to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall profit and loss (P&L) results.

• Enhance the skills of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) through intensive coaching based on their KPI performance.

• Oversee the management of the most critical and high-risk patients during short intervals to stabilize their conditions, subsequently transitioning them to APP panels as necessary.

• Facilitate discussions regarding partnerships with health plans and network providers.

• Propel the management of relationships with partners towards achieving key business results, including growth objectives, partner engagement, and clinical/financial outcomes.

• Assist in the creation and content development of materials for the board.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Resident of Florida is required.

• Must possess a medical degree (M.D. or D.O.).

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is mandatory.

• Fellowship training in Geriatrics is preferred; other professional degrees such as MPH, MBA, or JD are welcomed but not essential.

• A minimum of 5-15 years of experience in outpatient or home-based practices is required, with a preference for candidates with value-based care experience.

• Significant experience in clinical leadership roles, focusing on coaching and developing Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), or Medical Doctors (MDs).

• Proven ability to utilize KPIs and data to enhance cost, quality, and clinical outcomes for patients.

• Must be comfortable with uncertainty; prior experience in a start-up environment is advantageous.
