Market Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement internal sales goals and enhance account conditions utilizing BBC systems and the sales process.

• Acquire and demonstrate expertise in the beer industry, brewing techniques, and various BBC product styles.

• Actively seek new business prospects while expanding existing relationships with multi-unit chains and key accounts.

• Employ effective verbal and written communication skills with wholesalers, accounts, and colleagues, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.

• Leverage internal and external data to strategically plan and identify opportunities throughout the district.

• Cultivate robust relationships with wholesalers and retailers by offering leadership and training within the designated geography.

• Contribute to the development of Goals, Strategies, Objectives, and Tactics for the assigned district.

• Oversee the budget for the specified district and account portfolio.

• Facilitate monthly and quarterly Planning & Review meetings to assess current progress towards goals and sales objectives for BBC.

• Understand that working conditions may fluctuate significantly from day to day due to the customer-facing nature of the role.

• Be prepared for occasional weekend and holiday work to meet business demands.

• Travel may be required for meetings and training sessions.

• Regularly travel within the market to provide services to retailers and wholesalers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or the food and beverage industry.

• Ability to lift weights equivalent to one case of beer.

• Must possess a valid driver's license, a registered and insured vehicle, and be capable of driving to and from accounts consistently.

• Willingness to travel 40% of the time for Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetings.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• Experience in the alcohol-beverage industry is preferred.
