This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Supervise and enhance HHS’ culinary healthcare operations across various hospitals in a specified region.
• Inspire on-site management teams and promote success by fostering a positive culture, implementing HHS programs, and ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
• Conduct inspections and evaluations while establishing attainable goals based on current performance metrics.
• Facilitate the introduction of new products and processes that integrate sustainable foods and fine dining into our culinary standards.
• Define clear expectations and performance objectives, ensuring compliance across multiple locations.
• Guide and motivate managers and team members to achieve success and cultivate a pipeline of potential leaders within an inclusive work environment.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and retention efforts for on-site management teams.
• Oversee the execution and effectiveness of policies and programs that enhance patient satisfaction, safety, and additional factors.
• Consistently demonstrate the capability to maintain and/or enhance customer and patient satisfaction through effective communication, integrity, and performance.
• Evaluate data and make necessary adjustments to achieve facility, budgetary, and compliance goals.
• Provide hands-on support as required to ensure positive outcomes.
• 1-5 years of experience in managing operations across multiple sites.
• ServeSafe Food Service Manager Certification.
• Culinary expertise, including knowledge of recipes, ingredients, food presentation, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Proficient in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering systems.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Openness to relocate for promotional opportunities.
• Not mandatory, but highly advantageous: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).
• Experience in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with fine dining programs, sustainable food practices, and farm-to-fork concepts.
• Proficiency in languages other than English, particularly Spanish.
• Knowledge of OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards.
