This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for implementing the company's strategic initiatives both on-premise and off-premise in the Austin/San Antonio market.
• Overseeing distributors daily, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, achieving distribution goals, and facilitating promotional activities.
• Training distributor sales personnel, monitoring competitive market trends, and assessing distributor performance against our strategies.
• Support the District Manager - Off Premise TX as a direct report.
• Engage with key on-premise and off-premise accounts in the designated area to foster strong professional relationships.
• Promote and leverage brands to drive volume growth and assist the distributor in meeting its objectives.
• Maintain a visible presence at the distributor's office, collaborating with sales representatives and management to ensure brand awareness.
• Align with significant local events and participate when it aligns with strategic goals, including the execution of national initiatives within the local market.
• Serve as the primary contact for distributor sales teams, ensuring they are well-informed about local and national goals and programs while supporting all sales-related activities.
• Conduct product seminars for accounts and distributor sales teams.
• Provide updates on National Account Mandate compliance as necessary.
• Stay updated on customer and consumer trends.
• Maintain an activity and promotion calendar, ensuring successful communication with distributors and third-party agencies – manage activities of third-party promotional companies – execute brand training for staff.
• Deliver monthly market activity reports to the District Manager - Off Premise TX, including objectives, achievements, competitive activities, special projects, and any specific requirements.
• Supply market and competitive brand updates to the supervisor, including timely and accurate communication regarding changes in the field that may impact volumes.
• Review programs and execution updates with distributor management.
• Offer feedback on the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, including programs, POS, advertising, etc.
• Engage in special projects such as verifying pricing and/or distribution at on-premise and off-premise accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the distilled spirits/wine supplier industry.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in gathering data from diverse sources and presenting it in formats suitable for various audiences.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services, including strategies and tactics, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Effective managerial and presentation skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
