This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Implement the company's strategic initiatives both on and off-premise throughout Arizona.
• Assess, apply, and execute programs that align with brand strategies at the field level.
• Lead, guide, train, and oversee local distributor sales teams.
• Ensure planned market coverage across Arizona, including independent on- and off-premise accounts.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of distributors, ensuring compliance with brand policies, distribution goals, and promotional activities.
• Train distributor sales personnel, monitor competitive market activities, and assess distributor performance.
• Support the Regional Manager as a direct report.
• Dedicate around four days per week to fieldwork and one day per week to planning, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Engage with key on- and off-premise accounts to cultivate working relationships.
• Present and promote brands to enhance volume and assist distributors in meeting their objectives.
• Collaborate with distributor sales representatives and management to uphold brand visibility.
• Align with significant local events and engage in strategically relevant opportunities, including national initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for distributor sales teams concerning local and national goals and programs.
• Conduct product seminars for accounts and distributor sales teams.
• Provide updates on National Account Mandate compliance.
• Monitor customer and consumer trends.
• Maintain activity and promotion calendars and oversee third-party promotional company activities.
• Deliver brand training to staff members.
• Submit monthly market activity reports to the Regional Manager.
• Offer insights on market and competitive brand developments to the supervisor.
• Review programs and execution updates with distributor management.
• Provide feedback on marketing and sales initiatives, including programs, POS, and advertising.
• Complete special projects such as verifying pricing and distribution at accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Over five (5) years of relevant sales experience within the distilled spirits/wine supplier industry.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather data from diverse sources and present it in appropriate formats.
• Familiarity with principles and methods for displaying, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Effective managerial and presentation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Capability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling or feeling objects, operate a computer, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
