This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee, manage, and expand SP facilities (hospitals and ASCs) within assigned market(s).

• Collaborate with Division Presidents, facility administrators, Hospital CEOs (where applicable), and Division CFO to establish regional and facility-level growth objectives (e.g., revenue, AEBITDA).

• Monitor and drive progress towards essential revenue and AEBITDA goals by region and facility; manage the facility-level performance management system through regular meetings (e.g., monthly business reviews), dashboards, etc.

• Identify significant growth and cost-saving opportunities in the region (e.g., service line expansion, new partnership opportunities, staffing cost enhancements).

• Serve as a consultative leader for local administrators to resolve key issues, improve operations, and address urgent matters (e.g., dissatisfied physicians).

• Assist other essential teams (e.g., Market Growth, Strategy) in evaluating and closing major growth opportunities within their region.

• Cultivate key relationships with health systems, physicians, local stakeholders, and others.

• Aid in developing and nurturing critical partnerships (e.g., health systems, physician groups) within the region.

• Conduct targeted on-site visits to strengthen relationships and evaluate performance.

• Support Business Development functions as closers and occasionally attend key meetings to enhance credibility and build trust.

• Coordinate with Practice management and local SP practice clinical leaders & administrators as necessary.

• Participate in significant board meetings for relevant facilities and relationships, serving on facility-level boards as appropriate.

• Facilitate ongoing discussions with key local partners as needed.

• Engage early in De Novo & M&A growth opportunity discussions to establish relationships in preparation for future facility integrations.

• Manage, support, and enhance the skills of Administrators.

• Conduct regular check-in calls with facility Administrators/CEOs (e.g., bi-weekly check-ins, monthly in-person visits).

• Assist and advise Administrators/Hospital CEOs (where applicable) in developing essential management skills for effective facility oversight (e.g., managing daily processes and best practices).

• Support Administrators/Hospital CEOs (where applicable) in addressing complex on-the-ground challenges as necessary (e.g., dissatisfied physicians, intricate workforce issues).

• Implement SP best practices and standardize procedures across facilities.

• Collaborate with corporate leaders and regional management teams to execute key corporate initiatives and enhancements in the region's facilities.

• Facilitate the streamlining of cooperation and coordination between Field & Corporate teams as necessary (e.g., act as a liaison between corporate functions & Field Teams to gather vital data, advance key initiatives on-site, and assist the Division President in gathering feedback).

• Execute corporate projects/initiatives as required.

• Participate in essential corporate touchpoints and meetings (e.g., quarterly board meetings, weekly team calls, weekly one-on-one administrative syncs).

• Gather and disseminate best practices across regions; provide support to local facilities as needed.

• Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and results for SP patients.

• Consistently advocate for a patient-centered, “culture of safety” across all SP facilities and in key meetings.

• Monitor facility compliance with clinical best practices and key outcomes over time.

• Contribute to Clinical Quality by collecting and reporting all key quality metrics.

• Guarantee that all facilities are current with permits, accreditation, and essential documentation.
