This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Exhibit GM's Core Values and Cultural Priorities.

• Lead and manage designated Outside and Inside Sales Representatives.

• Work collaboratively with the Wholesale Market Area Manager.

• Achieve designated sales goals.

• Enhance and boost sales volume for all makes and models within the assigned region.

• Proactively seek orders at the Direct Account level by establishing inventories and requesting line additions and changeovers using LEEP and stocklift budgets.

• Aid in marketing ACDelco products and initiatives at both Direct and National Accounts.

• Expand and develop sales opportunities in the Independent Aftermarket, including Fleet.

• Identify new distribution opportunities at all levels to enhance ACDelco market presence.

• Enhance engagement with DA Outside and Inside Sales Representatives (OSR & ISR).

• Collaborate with Direct Accounts and utilize marketing budgets to create and execute market-specific (Local) promotions aimed at boosting sales.

• Promote and sell national, regional, and local programs.

• Communicate and ensure adherence to ACDelco policies and procedures by DA.

• Complete weekly updates, administrative tasks, special assignments, and other leadership requests regarding competitive products, market conditions, and distribution activities in a timely and professional manner.

• Provide market insights to assist in forecasting and business planning.

• Gather input from internal and external customers to better understand their needs and perceptions.

• Keep customer profiles and other records current in line with company guidelines.

• Attend conventions, special events, and trade shows as necessary.

• Assist in all customer training initiatives.

• Stay informed about current product developments and market trends.

• Maintain a strong working relationship with ACDelco PDCs.

• Oversee ACDelco warranty reduction initiatives and material returns/core credit activities, acting as a liaison between customers and ACDelco.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket.

• Experience in Outside Sales.

• Ability to prioritize and allocate resources effectively to maximize opportunities.

• Strong customer relationship management and sales skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Business acumen with the ability to identify new business opportunities.

• Capability to communicate the features and benefits of product lines.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to develop and implement action plans.

• Entrepreneurial mindset.

• Familiarity with GM parts systems.

• Proficient in computer software such as MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Willingness to travel as needed - up to 75%.
