Market Analyst – Critical Raw Materials Facility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize mining initiatives utilizing technical, economic, and ESG frameworks.

• Perform market analysis on pertinent supply chains and trends specific to the EU.

• Assess commercial and geopolitical factors that affect the development of mining projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from industry, government, and research organizations.

• Assist in investment decisions through data analysis and valuation evaluations.

• Populate, maintain, and leverage databases related to mining projects.

• Work together with internal teams and external partners to promote EIT RawMaterials initiatives.

• Prepare and present reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences.

• Travel as necessary to facilitate project development and stakeholder engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Tertiary education in geosciences or engineering (e.g., geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, metallurgy, process engineering, mining engineering).

• Relevant professional experience applying technical expertise in the metals and mining industry.

• Strong knowledge of commodity markets, pricing, and value chains within the EU.

• Understanding of commercial and geopolitical factors affecting metals and mining projects.

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel and collaborate across teams.
