This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
β’ Oversee the enhancement of engineering processes related to plant operations in partnership with safety, quality, and environmental teams.
β’ Create, assess, refine, and document manufacturing processes.
β’ Apply process control techniques and guidelines.
β’ Evaluate manufacturing process flows to boost safety, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
β’ Work alongside plant teams on product tooling and design to facilitate effective production methodologies.
β’ Conceive and develop manufacturing processes for improvements, product modifications, and new products ensuring zero defects and minimal production costs.
β’ Offer hands-on maintenance and engineering assistance to resolve technical challenges.
β’ Identify, document, and execute preventative maintenance activities.
β’ Collaborate with production teams to design and implement technical training for staff members.
β’ Generate and maintain documentation of tool designs and concepts.
β’ Retain a comprehensive understanding of processes and production machinery.
β’ Employ lean methodologies and tools to meet plant objectives.
β’ Foster relationships across various backgrounds and organizational tiers.
β’ Travel to mobile factories at project locations on a rotation schedule of roughly 3 weeks on and 1 week off.
β’ Execute any other responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in assembly/manufacturing, with a focus on process engineering and maintenance emphasizing continuous process enhancement.
β’ Proven track record in equipment maintenance, process improvement, and product design.
β’ Knowledge of construction scopes, including framing, electrical, exterior finishes, and interior finishes.
β’ Strong mechanical skills and exceptional root cause analysis abilities.
β’ Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
β’ Experience in leading continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
β’ Familiarity with AutoCAD.
β’ Understanding of electrical systems and UL compliance.
β’ Established experience in Lean manufacturing principles.
β’ Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Strong active listening and communication skills; receptive to diverse perspectives and feedback.
β’ Willingness to travel to mobile factories at project sites, with travel commitments exceeding 75%.
β’ Must currently be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status.
