Manual Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• We are looking for committed and detail-focused manual testers to join our team for the VA Cerner implementation project.

• In the role of a manual tester, you will be vital in ensuring the quality and reliability of the VA Cerner system by thoroughly testing its functionalities and identifying any issues.

• Your contributions will play a direct role in the successful deployment and operation of the VA Cerner system, improving healthcare services for veterans.

• Conduct manual testing procedures to verify the functionality of the VA Cerner system.

• Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data based on system requirements and specifications.

• Identify, document, and track defects using suitable tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to comprehend system requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.

• Engage in test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities.

• Provide clear and concise feedback on test outcomes and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.

• Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Bachelor's Degree or an additional FOUR (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• At least TWO (2) years of confirmed experience in manual testing, preferably in healthcare or related fields.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must receive approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST before onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
