This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.
• Create and implement comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for the SIMBA Team, ensuring robust functional coverage across primary user flows and edge scenarios.
• Conduct hands-on manual testing across various browsers and devices to verify new features, bug resolutions, and software releases.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to detect, reproduce, isolate, and document defects, providing clear steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, and supporting evidence.
• Maintain well-organized QA documentation, which includes test cases, regression suites, test reports, and summaries of release validations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure that issues are prioritized correctly based on their impact on users.
• Engage in Agile processes, including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives, to ensure QA is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform regression testing and release validation to guarantee product quality and stability before launch.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance manual QA processes, expand test coverage, and improve communication among teams.
• B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly with a strong emphasis on web applications.
• Solid understanding of QA principles, including test planning, test case creation, regression testing, exploratory testing, and defect reporting.
• Proven experience working in Agile settings and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and product teams.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify root causes and articulate issues clearly.
• Strong written communication skills, particularly when documenting defects and test results.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, or other similar bug tracking/project management systems.
• Experience utilizing browser developer tools to aid in debugging and reproducing issues.
