Manual QA Engineer, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Execute manual testing of iOS and Android applications to guarantee a superior user experience across mobile platforms.

• Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and functional testing for new features, releases, and product enhancements.

• Assess backend functionality utilizing API tools and databases, with a focus on MongoDB.

• Develop and uphold test documentation, including test cases, checklists, test plans, and bug reports.

• Investigate, replicate, and analyze defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure prompt resolution.

• Engage in Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Evaluate and validate A/B experiments, ensuring precise implementation and dependable results.

• Interact with internal systems, including admin panels and supporting tools, to confirm end-to-end functionality.

• Compile testing reports and provide clear visibility into product quality and readiness for release.

• Lead ongoing enhancements in testing procedures, coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Mobile QA with practical testing of iOS and Android applications.

• Profound understanding of mobile application architecture, client-server interactions, and mobile testing best practices.

• Experience in smoke, sanity, regression, and functional testing of mobile applications.

• Hands-on experience in backend testing using API tools and databases, ideally MongoDB.

• Background in working with cross-platform mobile applications (iOS / Android).

• Practical experience with proxy and traffic inspection tools such as Charles, Proxyman, or Fiddler.

• Proven ability to create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and bug reports.

• Familiarity with test management systems like Qase, TestRail, or similar solutions.

• Strong skills in bug investigation and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum processes, and the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Experience with MongoDB Compass.

• Proficiency in using Android Studio for testing and debugging.

• B1 English level or higher.
