Manual QA Engineer – Game Client

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create and implement thorough test plans, test cases, and testing scripts.

• Conduct manual, functional, regression, mobile, and cross-browser testing.

• Record and monitor software defects while collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

• Perform testing within a client/server architecture environment.

• Enhance and uphold established workflows and procedures within agile teams.

• Integrate and utilize CI tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions to optimize testing processes.

• Work together with mathematicians, sound producers, artists, designers, and animators to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

• Guarantee the highest quality of Playson’s online gaming products and comprehensive gaming solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in manual testing.

• Strong understanding of QA principles and agile methodologies.

• Experience in iGaming development or general game development.

• Proficient in manual, functional, and regression testing methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience with mobile and cross-browser testing.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a strong overall vision.

• Practical experience in writing detailed test documentation.

• Familiarity with testing client/server architectures.

• Experience using BrowserStack or similar services.

• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Jest, or Pytest.

• Basic knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.

• Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Zephyr and/or TestRail.

• Knowledge of observability systems like DataDog and Grafana.

• Experience with databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and analytical databases.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory, with the proficiency level to be included in the application.

• Candidates must not reside in the United States, Canada, or Australia.
