Manual QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive manual test plans and cases for the SIMBA Team, ensuring thorough functional coverage of essential user flows and edge scenarios.

• Conduct hands-on manual testing across various browsers and devices to verify new features, bug fixes, and software releases.

• Work closely with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects, providing precise steps, expected versus actual outcomes, and supporting evidence.

• Maintain organized and clear QA documentation, which includes test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure issues are appropriately triaged and prioritized based on their impact on users.

• Engage in Agile practices, including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming sessions, and retrospectives, to ensure QA is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

• Perform regression testing and release validation to guarantee product quality and stability before launch.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance manual QA processes, test coverage, and inter-team communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in manual QA testing, particularly focused on web applications.

• Strong grasp of QA essentials such as test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting.

• Experience in Agile environments and effective collaboration with engineering and product teams.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for isolating root causes and clearly communicating issues.

• Strong written communication skills, especially in documenting defects and test outcomes.

• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking/project management systems.

• Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and issue reproduction.
