Managing Quantity Surveyor – 4 Day Work Week

📋 Description

• Collaborate with commercial leaders to identify areas where profit is lost due to changes and disputes, demonstrating how Shape can prevent margin erosion.

• Facilitate customer adoption by ensuring that site and office teams consistently utilize Shape to document changes, issues, and claims.

• Guide customers in enhancing their claims and defending against disputes by providing documented, verifiable records.

• Serve as the commercial advocate within Shape, influencing product development to align more closely with the realities of construction projects.

• Disseminate best practices and lessons learned throughout our customer network, elevating standards and results across the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Commercial Manager or in a comparable construction position.

• Profound knowledge of how unmanaged changes and inadequate records diminish project profitability.

• Excellent communication skills – capable of building trust and articulating complex issues in a straightforward manner.

• Strategic thinker who can transition from problem identification to solution implementation.

• Commitment to making a sector-wide impact, rather than merely enhancing a single project or business.

• Experience in advising or consulting with various stakeholders.

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms or digital transformation initiatives in construction.

• Proficient in leading workshops, training sessions, or customer presentations.
