This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• In the role of Managing Director, you will play a pivotal part in fostering an environment where Awana Digital's personnel and programs can flourish.
• Collaborating closely with the Executive Director and the leadership team, you will enhance the organization's effectiveness by ensuring alignment among our people, resources, systems, and priorities in support of our mission.
• Key responsibilities include:
• - Nurturing and developing staff while cultivating a culture of trust, accountability, learning, and collaboration.
• - Establishing clarity regarding priorities, goals, roles, and expectations throughout the organization.
• - Enhancing communication, coordination, and relationships among teams.
• - Designing and refining systems, workflows, and processes to enhance organizational efficiency.
• - Assisting in organizational planning, decision-making, and the execution of strategic priorities.
• - Aligning budgets, staffing, projects, and funder commitments with the organization's goals.
• - Creating frameworks that assist teams in adapting to growth, change, and new opportunities.
• - Identifying obstacles, resolving issues, and facilitating the progression of significant initiatives.

• - Experience with Notion (or a similar project management tool).
• - Experience working in diverse countries and cultures, with an understanding of work cultures outside the United States.
• - Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Bahasa Indonesia.
• - Ability to align budgets, staffing, and organizational priorities with grant requirements, deliverables, and reporting obligations.
• Awana Digital employs a transparent payscale to determine compensation, with an expected salary range of $106-115,000 USD, based on experience. Benefits vary by country of residence.

• Experience a 4-day work week, with “full time” defined as 32 hours per week. Some team members work four 8-hour days, while others distribute their hours flexibly throughout the week.
• Opportunities for travel exist. Although this position is primarily remote, occasional travel will be required for internal team gatherings, retreats, conferences, and visits to partner organizations.
