This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
β’ Conduct technical evaluations of property risks associated with fire, natural hazards, and related threats, offering expert advice and leadership on intricate client accounts.
β’ Partner with client brokerage teams to achieve favorable outcomes and enhance business development initiatives for practice growth.
β’ Generate technically robust reports, plan review correspondence, and consultative guidance for clients that comply with strict quality assurance standards.
β’ Oversee project work plans, budgets, and resource allocation while following company policies and ongoing risk enhancement methodologies.
β’ Uphold client confidentiality and foster positive, enduring client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
β’ At least 7 years of experience in risk management or property engineering consulting.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or higher in an Engineering discipline, ideally in fire science, fire protection engineering technology, or fire protection engineering.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a background in preparing professional or technical summaries.
β’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
β’ Dedication to professional development through ongoing education, certifications, and mentorship.
β’ National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Certified Fire Protection Specialist credential (preferred).
