This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Utilize expertise in retail pharmacy operations, workflows, regulatory compliance, and payer navigation to guide client recommendations.
• Partner with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and client teams to provide consulting solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and foster trust through effective communication and results-oriented insights.
• Create presentations, reports, and dashboards that convert complex data into actionable narratives.
• Develop executive messaging frameworks that encompass priorities, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Tackle ambiguous challenges using structured thinking, consulting methodologies, and hypothesis-driven strategies.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of pharmacy operational and financial data.
• Construct financial models, operational frameworks, and tools to support strategic decision-making.
• Collect information across various teams, integrate perspectives, and maintain messaging consistency.
• Assist in preparing for executive meetings, reviews, and strategic check-ins.
• Aid in optimizing pharmacy service lines, enhancing operational readiness, and refreshing strategy initiatives.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on customer insights, operational data, and industry trends.
• Convert data and qualitative insights into actionable leadership insights.
• Ensure organization, version control, proactive stakeholder communication, adherence to deadlines, and accuracy in deliverables.
• Create materials for enterprise summits, advisory boards, customer meetings, board presentations, and leadership retreats.
• Engage in ongoing learning to improve consulting skills and deepen pharmacy industry knowledge.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) from an accredited institution is required.
• Active pharmacist licensure is essential; California licensure is preferred.
• 2–5 years of pertinent experience in retail pharmacy, health system pharmacy operations, consulting, project management, or a comparable role.
• Experience in pharmacy operations, including workflow optimization, inventory management, medication access, or payer/PBM navigation.
• Capability to distill complex information into clear narratives and structured deliverables.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools like Power BI.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities, covering financial modeling and business case analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in messaging to senior leadership.
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities; capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–75% and work extended hours as necessary.
