This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify new opportunities within the group and individual travel sectors.
• Offer continuous support to team members with daily operations through client interactions, serving as a liaison between hotels and clients, along with providing administrative assistance as required.
• Define event specifications with clients, including dates of stay, room and meeting space requirements, concessions, special requests, and more.
• Grasp the client's needs, budget, and requirements for each opportunity.
• Strategically source hotels for each opportunity and create comprehensive hotel reports.
• Negotiate proposals with hotels to secure the best rates and most favorable concessions in line with client preferences.
• Process contract requests and redlines efficiently.
• Finalize and execute contract agreements with both clients and hotels.
• Use Salesforce to develop a pipeline, manage opportunities, and track relevant data.
• Assist clients with additional services required, including commercial air, charter air, charter ground transportation, rentals, black-car services, and long-term/short-term rentals.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with all properties, NSOs, and clients.
• Handle last-minute requests, needs, or changes effectively.
• Follow up with clients and hotels regarding any feedback or challenges experienced during their stay.
• Provide weekly reports to the Senior Vice President of Pro Sports & Group Accounts.
• Collaborate with the Travel Division finance team on specific pickup reports, commissions, or hotel support.
• A suitable level of motivation and resilience to efficiently manage multiple demanding projects in a fast-paced, technical environment within a rapidly changing industry.
• Strong awareness of hotel brands (e.g., Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, IHG).
• Advanced negotiation capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of travel, including hotels, charter/commercial air, ground transportation, rentals, catering, and more.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage various relationships with clients and hotels.
• Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using CVENT, Salesforce, MS Office, and Google Suite.
• BA/BS degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related fields.
• 3-5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, 3rd party/hotel, or team operations roles.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of group logistics and hotel logistics from both competitive and business perspectives.
• A pre-existing book of business and industry connections.
• Keen attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
