• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the Treasury team, providing consistent feedback, performance management, and support for career development.
• Set team priorities and ensure effective execution of daily treasury operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the Treasury function.
• Appropriately delegate responsibilities while maintaining robust oversight of controls, compliance, and service levels.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development within Treasury.
• Act as the primary escalation point for treasury operational issues and complex banking matters.
• Encourage knowledge sharing, documentation, and cross-training initiatives to enhance team resilience and scalability.
• Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across more than 30 domestic and international bank accounts.
• Oversee both short- and long-term cash forecasting processes, collaborating with FP&A and business stakeholders to increase forecast accuracy and support strategic planning.
• Develop recommendations on cash deployment, working capital optimization, and liquidity strategies.
• Ensure timely execution and approval of external and intercompany wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other treasury activities in alignment with company policies and controls.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for banking partners, driving service enhancements, fee optimization, and treasury product evaluations.
• Lead all bank account administration tasks, including account openings, closures, KYC compliance, signatory management, and governance of banking platforms.
• Assess and implement treasury management solutions and banking services to enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability.
• Act as the administrator and strategic owner of corporate card programs and related banking services.
• Oversee treasury reporting, encompassing cash forecasts, liquidity metrics, debt reporting, and management reporting packages.
• Collaborate with Accounting to support month-end close activities, cash reconciliations, journal entries, statement of cash flows, and audit requirements.
• Ensure adherence to treasury policies, internal controls, and banking regulations.
• Monitor fraud prevention tools, Positive Pay exceptions, and treasury control activities to minimize operational and financial risk.
• Lead treasury transformation projects that enhance scalability, operational efficiency, internal controls, and overall employee experience.
• Advocate for an AI-first approach within Treasury by spotting opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to streamline processes, enhance forecasting and reporting, improve decision-making, and reduce manual tasks.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement technological solutions that boost productivity, fortify risk management practices, and cater to the evolving needs of the business.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Procurement, People, and Technology teams to drive process enhancements and achieve strategic business objectives.
• Establish and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that promote operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable growth.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by fostering innovation, data-driven decision-making, and the adoption of new tools and methodologies across the Treasury team.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and functional leadership to the Staff Accountant within the Cash Application function and other finance team members as needed.
• Support financing transactions, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic corporate initiatives.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to Finance leadership concerning liquidity, risk management, banking strategy, and treasury operations.
• Lead special projects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or accounting, including at least 1 year of recent Treasury experience.
• Prior experience at a firm with approximately $250M–$350M in annual revenue, preferably private equity–backed and within the SaaS sector.
• Proven experience managing cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
• Strong grasp of treasury operations, cash management practices, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience in building and refining forecasts within complex treasury functions, utilizing both data-driven analysis and strategic judgment, while collaborating across the finance department to ensure accuracy.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, drive process improvements, and improve business outcomes.
• Growth mindset with a readiness to learn, embrace, and champion emerging technologies and innovative working methods.
• Ability to work standard business hours (8am – 5pm) in either Eastern or Central Time.
