This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Oversees every phase of the project lifecycle, including planning.
• Cultivates and strengthens client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
• Creates and implements project plans, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high levels of client satisfaction.
• Formulates contingency strategies to minimize risks and guarantee that project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Develops travel demand models to facilitate ridership analyses.
• Operates with minimal supervision while collaborating with project teams on diverse projects.
• Establishes and upholds effective communication channels with project teams and clients, assisting in the development and execution of innovative transportation analytics, including market research surveys, models, and software engineering.
• Actively participates in the training and mentorship of junior staff members.
• May have responsibilities for direct supervision of staff.
• Engages in industry events such as presentations and publications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in transportation, market research, statistics, mathematics, economics, psychology, geography, engineering, or a related field of study.
• Over 6 years of professional experience, including prior work with travel models, travel demand forecasting, or transportation planning.
• Proven experience in developing travel forecasts and constructing as well as validating travel demand models using one or more transportation modeling software packages (FTA STOPS, TransCAD, Cube, EMME, and/or VISUM).
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple, competing projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
• Strong understanding of and proficiency in Python, R, Julia, or SQL.
• Experience in managing project teams.
• Highly motivated with a focus on achieving innovative processes in emerging fields.
• Exhibits professionalism and composure.
• Proven writing skills in both technical and business contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate new client relationships and generate business opportunities.
• Strong executive presence and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and meaningful manner to project team members and clients.
• Competitive salary range of $82k - $123k/year (Compensation within the posted range is informed by various factors including geographic location, experience, internal equity, and qualifications. Offers are usually not made at the upper end of the range).
