This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Take ownership of the complete fit, construction, grading, and product quality results.
• Recognize and address risks throughout the development, sampling, and bulk production phases.
• Offer technical guidance on garment construction, pattern-making, and fit to vendors and internal teams.
• Promote vendor capability enhancement in both Technical Design and Product Integrity.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, training, and initiatives aimed at performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards, product specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage product testing, RSL compliance, and performance of third-party labs.
• Set parameters for bulk production and establish quality benchmarks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for quality and fit challenges.
• Collaborate with QA, Product Development, and Vendor teams to foster continuous improvement.
• Assist in seasonal development reviews to proactively spot potential risks.
• Evaluate performance metrics (fit approvals, testing outcomes, defects) and advocate for enhancements.
• Lead and nurture technical teams and vendor technicians.
• Work with global teams to ensure alignment of SOPs and initiate new projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion, or a related discipline, with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive expertise in garment construction, fitting, pattern making, and grading.
• Comprehensive understanding of product testing, quality systems, and regulatory compliance (US/EU/China).
• Demonstrated experience in managing vendors and enhancing their capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proven abilities in risk management and problem resolution.
• Effective collaboration and stakeholder management within a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication abilities with global teams and vendors.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with 2D/3D systems is preferred.
