This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Provide support and occasionally lead Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up initiatives for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment portfolio.
• Serve as a liaison among the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance teams.
• Create, coordinate, and implement material strategies that align with supply chain, portfolio, and business goals.
• Manage supplier relationships and execution in collaboration with Program Management, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Procurement.
• Develop and execute supplier RFPs/RFQs while assisting with gate review preparations.
• Support prime contract proposal activities related to suppliers and ISC BOEs.
• Identify customer prime contract flow-downs and secure necessary terms attachments or modifications.
• Acquire, comprehend, and process supplier proposals and quotes.
• Facilitate purchase order closeouts.
• Generate and process requests for supplier new-add/reactivation.
• Create and manage SCM material sales, EAC, and risk and opportunity assessments.
• Drive the generation of purchase requisitions and placement of purchase orders.
• Execute and uphold Line of Balance (LOB) procedures.
• Lead make/buy decisions and efforts regarding material affordability.
• Assist with or lead negotiations on materials with suppliers and/or customers.
• Prepare and implement Material Program Plans.
• Engage in supplier interactions and evaluations.
• Identify and implement mitigation strategies for material impacts on program milestones.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems.
• U.S. Citizenship with the capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
• Preferred experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Preferred experience working in a cross-functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
• Preferred experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
• Preferred experience in estimating, proposal preparation, negotiation, and/or capture activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.
