This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Access, extract, reconcile, and synthesize data from various EMR, practice management, billing, and additional operational systems to generate precise and comprehensive reports that facilitate enterprise decision-making.
• Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data utilized in reporting by identifying discrepancies, validating outputs, and collaborating with operational teams to resolve issues and enhance data quality.
• Create, maintain, and improve recurring and ad hoc revenue cycle and operational reports that offer insights into key performance indicators such as charge capture, coding, claims, denials, collections, reimbursement, aging, and cash performance.
• Analyze trends in revenue cycle and operational performance, pinpoint root causes of variances, and proactively deliver actionable recommendations to enhance workflows, reimbursement outcomes, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and refine reporting tools, dashboards, and visualizations for leadership and operational teams utilizing Excel, Power BI, and other reporting platforms to support ongoing monitoring and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with revenue cycle, finance, operations, clinical, and IT teams to clarify reporting needs, translate business inquiries into data requirements, and provide timely, relevant analyses.
• Aid process improvement initiatives by identifying reporting gaps, standardizing metrics, documenting reporting logic, and keeping abreast of revenue cycle best practices, system capabilities, and changes in the healthcare industry. Utilize these reports and insights to drive operational change with our clinical and operations teams and enhance revenue cycle outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, analytics, information systems, or a related field.
• MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle, provider operations, or related analytical roles in healthcare is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in accessing, reconciling, and synthesizing data from various EMR, practice management, billing, and other operational healthcare systems.
• Extensive experience in generating, maintaining, and interpreting revenue cycle and operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for both leadership and front-line teams.
• Advanced analytical skills with a strong proficiency in Excel and reporting or business intelligence tools; SQL or similar data-query experience is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to validate data, identify inconsistencies, and ensure reporting accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle workflows is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to translate intricate data into clear, actionable insights.
