This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Territory Ownership and Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with a diverse array of school influencers and advocates—including educators, administrators, counselors, parents and guardians, alumni, and community stakeholders within a designated portfolio of partner schools—to enhance CIEE's visibility and influence.
• Collaborate with school partners to promote awareness of study abroad opportunities, broaden participation, and incorporate global education into the wider school community.
• Strategic Planning and Growth: Create and implement strategic partnership plans that boost student involvement in CIEE programs and align study abroad opportunities with each school's objectives, priorities, and student requirements.
• Achieve or surpass team enrollment targets, partnership goals, and other essential performance metrics set throughout the year.
• Work alongside CIEE teams such as marketing and philanthropy to pinpoint school-specific areas for development.
• Sales Leadership and Pipeline Management: Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to oversee the student sales process from lead generation to student travel.
• Enhance conversions through effective communication and teamwork.
• Presentations and Events: Provide engaging presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both online and in person.
• Travel within your region during the enrollment season to represent CIEE at conferences, pre-departure orientations, and regional or national professional events.
• Manage travel and engagement budgets judiciously while maintaining a strong presence within assigned schools and areas.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Evaluate enrollment trends, school engagement data, and market opportunities to guide partnership strategies, identify growth areas, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Keep accurate records of all outreach activities and engagement plans within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
• Proactively handle administrative and customer service tasks related to the enrollment and pre-departure process.
• Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales or pertinent experience, with a proven history of cultivating strong client relationships.
• Experience in international education or related K-12 sectors is advantageous.
• Spanish proficiency is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in sales leadership or management roles.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proven ability to establish a sales territory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to present dynamically to large audiences.
• Proficiency in utilizing a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to structure and prioritize a sales pipeline.
• Willingness to be a flexible team member with a passion for education and a commitment to the value of global citizenship.
• Enthusiasm for traveling within your territory during the critical enrollment season.
• Readiness to grow personally, develop our client group, and contribute to our Company.
