This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bangladesh.
• Lead and cultivate a team of specialists, providing coaching on performance and facilitating professional development.
• Oversee a portfolio of factories within the designated country, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved or surpassed.
• Actively participate in Risk Assessment and Pre-Production meetings by identifying potential risks and suggesting actionable recommendations.
• Address production-related challenges, such as material delays and low output, in collaboration with VF functions and factory partners.
• Engage in root cause analysis and Corrective Action Plan (CAP) reviews for quality claims, ensuring the successful implementation and assessment of CAP effectiveness.
• Assist in the development of corrective action plans for social and environmental compliance, as well as VF programs like Higg Index, WCD, and LABS.
• Co-lead the automation strategy alongside the Commercialization team, promoting the adoption of lean manufacturing practices.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance factory performance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships and act as the primary contact for operational escalations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, material innovations, and best practices in manufacturing.
• Advocate for compliance, accountability, continuous improvement, and the core values of VF.
• Travel frequently to factory sites across designated locations within Bangladesh.
• Demonstrated experience and comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods relevant to the product category.
• Established leadership experience managing diverse, multicultural teams and effectively influencing stakeholders.
• Capacity to lead, facilitate, and drive change initiatives.
• Strong personal and professional integrity and ethical standards.
• Passion for products and a consumer-centric approach.
• Ability to navigate complex interpersonal interactions, resolve issues, make informed decisions, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities; adept at prioritizing and executing multiple tasks/projects.
• Ability to collaborate on a global scale with cultural sensitivity.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
• A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in production operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience with overseas factories and managing multicultural factory teams.
• Proven track record in leading and developing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM systems, and production planning tools.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness and capability to travel extensively within the region.
