Manager, Social Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Manager of Social Commerce is responsible for leading the agency’s TikTok Shop division, overseeing the strategy, execution, growth, and operational development of TikTok Shop services across the client portfolio.

• Tasked with establishing and expanding a top-tier social commerce offering that generates revenue for clients, enhances creator partnerships, boosts client retention, and positions the agency as a premier TikTok Shop management partner.

• Manages the entire TikTok Shop lifecycle, which includes shop setup, product and listing optimization, affiliate program strategy, creator recruitment, sample management, campaign planning, paid amplification, performance reporting, and strategic recommendations for clients.

• Supervises internal team members, creates scalable systems and processes, assesses tools and platform updates, and ensures the department functions efficiently as the client roster expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of TikTok Shop, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, creator commerce, and social selling.

• Proven experience in managing client relationships and guiding strategic discussions with clients.

• Capability to analyze performance data and convert it into actionable insights.

• Strong familiarity with creator outreach, creator vetting, sampling strategies, and affiliate program management.

• Understanding of TikTok Shop Seller Center, Affiliate Center, TikTok One, GMV Max, product listings, promotions, and shop health metrics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in managing multiple client programs, priorities, and various moving components simultaneously.

• Experience in developing processes, SOPs, reports, and internal systems.

• Comfortable in managing team members and ensuring accountability to KPIs.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a rapidly evolving platform environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, clients, team members, and external partners.
