This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the strategic direction, implementation, and advancement of social media and brand reputation initiatives for Penn Foster Group’s collection of brands.
• Broaden outreach to new demographics and enhance brand visibility across owned and emerging platforms.
• Influence the representation of the brand in wider digital discussions, including large language models (LLMs) and social search.
• Supervise the social media operations and lead a dedicated team.
• Create and execute thorough social media strategies for all brands.
• Enhance visibility and sentiment in LLMs and social search contexts.
• Optimize content for discoverability and precision across new platforms.
• Manage both proactive and reactive interactions within third-party environments such as Reddit and forums.
• Direct engaging social content strategies, with a focus on short-form video and platform-native material.
• Expand creator and influencer strategies in collaboration with the PR agency.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop the social media and community engagement team.
• Formulate unique social strategies for non-core brands.
• Establish processes for performance tracking, social listening, and insight generation.
• Provide actionable insights to Marketing, PR, Partnerships, and senior leadership.
• Maintain an active role in the execution, testing, and optimization of content and campaigns.
• Analyze performance data to refine strategies, enhance efficiency, and scale successful initiatives.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in social media, digital marketing, or brand strategy.
• Proven experience in leading teams.
• A successful history of developing and scaling social media strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
• Experience in managing and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Solid understanding of social listening, brand reputation management, and community engagement best practices.
• Familiarity with creator/influencer strategy and partnership management.
• Awareness of emerging trends in LLMs, social search, and digital discoverability.
• Strong analytical abilities, with experience using data to guide decisions and communicate performance to stakeholders.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Capability to influence senior leaders and partners.
• Experience managing multiple brands or business lines is preferred.
• High attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfort in navigating a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape with a test-and-learn approach.
• Must reside and perform work within the United States.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
