This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the creation and implementation of all-encompassing social media strategies for Penn Foster Group brands.
• Enhance audience reach, boost engagement, and drive measurable growth across key platforms.
• Formulate strategies to elevate brand visibility and sentiment within LLMs and social search contexts.
• Collaborate across functions to enhance content for discoverability and accuracy.
• Take ownership of and advance brand reputation management in social and digital arenas.
• Oversee proactive and reactive engagement in external spaces such as Reddit and forums.
• Direct the production of engaging, high-performing social content with a focus on short-form video and platform-specific content.
• Collaborate with Brand, Content, and Creative teams to ensure consistency, quality, and innovation.
• Scale creator and influencer strategies in partnership with the PR agency.
• Manage and cultivate the social media and community engagement team.
• Create tailored social strategies for non-core brands within the portfolio.
• Establish processes for performance tracking, social listening, and insight generation.
• Relay actionable insights to Marketing, PR, Partnerships, and senior leadership.
• Maintain active involvement in execution, testing, and optimization of campaigns.
• Analyze performance data to refine strategies, enhance efficiency, and scale successful initiatives.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Communications.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in social media, digital marketing, or brand strategy.
• Experience in leading teams.
• A proven history of developing and scaling social media strategies that foster audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
• Experience in managing and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of social listening, brand reputation management, and best practices in community engagement.
• Experience with creator/influencer strategy and partnership management.
• Familiarity with emerging trends in LLMs, social search, and digital discoverability.
• Ability to translate emerging trends into actionable strategies.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience leveraging data to guide decisions and communicate performance to stakeholders.
• Excellent skills in cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and partners effectively.
• High attention to detail, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape with a test-and-learn approach.
• Experience managing multiple brands or business lines is preferred.
• Must reside and work within the United States.
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
