Manager, Security Advisory – Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Directly supervise and mentor the Security Advisory & Compliance Associates, Consultant, and Sr. Consultant positions.

• Establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, and carry out performance evaluations.

• Facilitate career development, skill advancement, and certification achievement within the Security Advisory & Compliance team.

• Ensure effective workload distribution, capacity planning, and role alignment.

• Oversee the delivery of all Security Advisory & Compliance services, encompassing audits, risk assessments, policy creation, roadmap execution, and vCISO-aligned engagements.

• Ensure that Security Advisory & Compliance deliverables align with Integris quality standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and client expectations.

• Serve as an escalation point for complex client issues, delivery risks, or scope challenges.

• Collaborate with Service Delivery and Security Operations leadership to ensure team alignment.

• Establish and uphold standardized methodologies, templates, workflows, and documentation standards for Security Advisory & Compliance.

• Review and approve significant deliverables, including strategic roadmaps, executive reports, and policy frameworks.

• Ensure audit readiness, defensibility, and consistency across all Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) engagements.

• Drive ongoing improvements in Security Advisory & Compliance processes, tools usage, and reporting practices.

• Define and refine the Security Advisory & Compliance service catalog, delivery models, and engagement structure.

• Identify opportunities to enhance offerings, boost efficiency, and increase client value.

• Collaborate with leadership on service pricing, packaging, and scalability considerations.

• Assist in sales and pre-sales initiatives through solution design, scoping, and subject-matter expertise as required.

• Participate in or lead executive-level client interactions, including escalations and strategic discussions.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality executive communication across Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), reports, and advisory engagements.

• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to reinforce Integris' role as a trusted advisor.

• Oversee vulnerability management, incident governance, and remediation prioritization practices.

• Ensure that client risk decisions, policy approvals, and governance actions are well-documented and defensible.

• Track and manage the performance of the Security Advisory & Compliance team against key performance indicators (KPIs), SLAs, and utilization targets.

• Ensure accurate time tracking, documentation, and reporting within the team.

• Maintain necessary training and certifications as defined by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Must have, or complete, one or more of the following certifications as defined by management: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISC2 CGRC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor (or equivalent), or possess equivalent demonstrated experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, risk management, auditing, or advisory roles.

• More than 3 years of experience leading or managing teams in a consulting, security, or compliance environment.

• Mastery of risk management and cybersecurity frameworks.

• In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance drivers relevant to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and mid-market organizations.

• Strong comprehension of vulnerability management, incident response governance, and audit readiness.

• Proven capability to lead client-facing teams and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Expertise in executive communication, escalation management, and stakeholder alignment.

• Proficiency in using GRC platforms, Microsoft 365, and an understanding of security tooling outputs.
