Manager, Revenue Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• The Manager, Revenue Operations is tasked with ensuring revenue integrity from the point of contract to cash collection.

• Develop and uphold the reconciliation process from contract stipulations to billable activities, invoiced revenue, and recognized revenue.

• Detect, assess, and lead initiatives to recover any revenue loss across various studies, sites, and sponsors.

• Manage the unbilled revenue schedule effectively.

• Analyze clinical trial agreements, study budgets, and modifications to contracts.

• Oversee the revenue classification of visit-based fees, monitoring fees, pharmacy fees, fees related to contract renewals, startup and closeout fees, as well as pass-through costs.

• Reconcile the screening activities recorded at the site with what is billable in accordance with the contract.

• Establish and maintain regular communication with clinical operations, study budgets & contracts, and site leadership.

• Take responsibility for the revenue cutoff, conduct monthly revenue accruals, and manage unbilled reconciliations.

• Provide monthly revenue reports by study, sponsor, and site, including any variances from the contract.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least five years of experience in revenue operations, revenue integrity, clinical trial finance, or financial management at research sites.

• Proven experience in interpreting contract terms related to screening and screen failure, and recovering the associated revenue.

• Practical experience with CRIO.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Proficient in Advanced Excel, including the capability to create reconciliations and variance analyses from incomplete data sources.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable presenting insights to finance leadership and sponsors.

• A keen attention to detail with the ability to discern which details are significant.
