This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Assist in the implementation and upkeep of rebate forecasting processes, which includes updating model inputs, tables, and the underlying assumptions.
• Aid with the continuous maintenance of forecasting tools, incorporating necessary updates to rates, modifiers, and override logic.
• Engage in coding and troubleshooting within forecasting tools, such as formula-based logic and model frameworks.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting to inform rebate forecasting decisions, encompassing the assessment of formulary changes, pricing strategies, and forecasting assumptions.
• Facilitate factor analysis and investigate variations in forecast outputs, pinpointing essential drivers and validating results.
• Assist in creating materials and summaries to support leadership reviews and decision-making processes.
• Contribute to key forecasting cycles and periodic processes (e.g., bid support, annual refreshes, and assumption reviews), ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Review and confirm updates to forecasting assumptions, including the verification of new or retiring strategies.
• Participate in collaborative testing efforts across teams, ensuring end-to-end validation of forecasting outputs with underwriting and partner teams.
• Aid in quality control processes, including the review of model outputs, reconciliation activities, and identification/tracking of issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Underwriting, Trade, Pricing Strategy, and tool development teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure deliverables are aligned.
• Coordinate feedback collection and issue tracking processes, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution of identified concerns.
• Support communication and alignment among teams involved in the development and execution of rebate forecasting tools.
• Maintain and update documentation related to rebate forecasting tools, assumptions, and processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and transparency of rebate forecasting processes and tools.
• Assist with team-level metrics, reporting, and tracking of key activities as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and model-based analysis.
• Experience with structured datasets and conducting data validation and reconciliation across various inputs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and function effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, including the capacity to summarize complex analytical findings and facilitate cross-functional discussions.
