Manager, Quality – Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Developing, managing, and continually enhancing the quality and safety frameworks at Misumi Americas

• Leading a team of Supplier Quality Engineers

• Overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Ensuring that manufacturing partners adhere to strict performance benchmarks

• Creating and implementing a thorough Safety Management Program across all Misumi Americas locations

• Promoting regulatory compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture

• Merging Misumi and Fictiv quality systems, processes, and documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

• At least 5 years of experience in a quality management position

• Results-driven, data-oriented, and self-motivated, utilizing a process-oriented approach and risk-based thinking to implement impactful changes

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration at all organizational levels, as well as with suppliers and customers

• Experience in a rapidly expanding organization, demonstrating adaptability to handle unexpected changes successfully

• A combination of practical tactics and innovative strategies

• Familiarity with quality management system audits to the ISO 9001 standard, along with knowledge of other quality management standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, etc.
