Manager, Project Services – Laboratories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated clinical trial laboratory projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that protocol requirements are thoroughly understood and implemented.

• Lead the setup activities for studies, including reviewing protocols and budgets, conducting start-up meetings, and executing project and risk management plans.

• Track timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, performing trend analysis, managing scope changes, and processing change orders.

• Act as the primary contact for sponsors, facilitating client communications, meetings, and addressing and escalating issues as necessary.

• Promote timely, customer-oriented problem resolution and coordinate cross-functional resources to eliminate study barriers.

• Supervise the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instructional documents and maintain laboratory specifications.

• Assist in proposal development, preparation for bid defenses, and the formulation of sponsor or program-specific standards and procedures.

• Document lessons learned and foster continuous improvement throughout projects and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.

• More than 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

• At least 2 years of experience in project management (e.g., study setup, method validation or transfer, client programs).

• Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems in a project delivery context.
