Manager, Professional Services – Forward Deployed Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic oversight for managing professional services engagements for high-value Databricks clients.

• Influence the future of the big data and machine learning sectors for leading Fortune 500 companies.

• Take charge of essential elements in building and overseeing the Forward Deployed Engineers team.

• Ensure the successful execution of customer projects within your region, adhering to specified targets and high standards.

• Serve as a representative for Services and advocate for their value within the region.

• Represent the organization in steering committees while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing and mentoring consulting, delivery, or solution architecture teams to ensure successful project delivery and team growth.

• Strong technical foundation as a hands-on Solutions Architect, empowering you to effectively support and guide technical architects under your supervision while advancing strategic goals.

• Proven track record of driving end-to-end project delivery against defined outcomes (fixed fee) in Fortune 500 companies across regions such as France, Italy, Spain, the Middle East, and South Africa.

• Ability to implement a project schedule with a strong background in customer engagement.

• Familiarity with Databricks product offerings (Data and AI) and/or direct competitors.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%, with increased travel during peak periods.
