Manager, Professional Services – Application Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing and highly engaged team of individual contributors, typically performing similar functions.

• Interview, hire, onboard, and retain outstanding talent.

• Contribute to departmental objectives and ensure they are achieved.

• Implement and uphold company policies, processes, and programs.

• Guide team members using the company’s performance management and development framework.

• Foster a culture that highlights the strategy, guiding principles, and core values.

• Communicate effectively and regularly with team members, peers, and leadership.

• Oversee financial responsibilities and related activities.

• Build and sustain trusted relationships with customers.

• Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Drive utilization within the team.

• Report financial and goal outcomes, along with KPIs, to direct reports.

• Perform tasks as an individual contributor to support the team when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years in team leadership or management roles.

• Experience in supporting external, client-facing software implementations (preferably SaaS and/or enterprise platforms) within a Professional Services or consulting context (billable/utilization model).

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, system integrations (APIs, data interfaces), and common integration patterns.

• Capability to translate business and functional requirements into effective technical designs and implementation strategies.

• Proven experience in driving code quality through reviews, testing methodologies, and the use of modern SDLC/CI/CD tools.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
