This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver enterprise-grade leadership and governance for the PSM and RMP initiatives across six PSM-covered locations.
• Create, execute, and uphold standardized PSM policies, procedures, tools, and metrics.
• Direct and manage Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), encompassing facilitation strategies, revalidation timelines, recommendations tracking, and risk prioritization.
• Supervise Management of Change programs related to process modifications.
• Collaborate with site teams on audits, gap evaluations, compliance assessments, and corrective and preventive measures.
• Offer technical guidance, coaching, and training to site EHS, Engineering, and Operations leaders.
• Act as the primary corporate subject matter expert regarding PSM and RMP compliance.
• Keep track of regulatory trends and industry best practices associated with process safety.
• Assist in incident investigations related to process safety events or near misses.
• Collaborate on capital projects, property insurance evaluations, and reviews of high-hazard processes.
• Engage in cross-functional projects that support enterprise EHS goals.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field (Required).
• 7-9 years of experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) within covered manufacturing environments (Required).
• 7-9 years of leadership experience in multi-site or enterprise-level PSM programs (Required).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, risk-based process safety management, and related regulatory standards.
• Capability to lead and govern enterprise-wide PSM initiatives.
• Proficiency in PHA methodologies, Management of Change (MoC), and mechanical integrity.
• Skill in assessing and prioritizing process safety risks across various sites.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities at all leadership levels.
• Capacity to manage multiple intricate initiatives concurrently.
