This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee key strategic suppliers to proactively respond to market dynamics and uncover revenue opportunities.
• Create and sustain supplier performance models that are utilized to monitor fulfillment and inform business decisions.
• Share insights with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop standardized performance frameworks, KPIs, and methodologies (e.g., QSI, share analysis).
• Stay informed about industry trends and assess their potential impact on BCD’s business.
• Utilize existing reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications to evaluate data against contract models and explore strategic options.
• Perform analyses on ad hoc market, supplier, or client modifications, assessing their likely effects on performance and revenue.
• Aid the team in data analysis for quarterly business reviews.
• Assist in analyzing deal performance and support regional and global supplier proposals for forecasting.
• Employ supplier, internal, and third-party data to create interactive reports that monitor supplier contractual performance, ensuring optimal revenue and earnings rates.
• Effectively communicate analyses with internal regional teams and highlight recommended actions based on analytical findings.
• Use supplier and internal data to improve the accuracy of supplier projections for monthly accruals.
• Previous experience in the travel industry, particularly in air and/or hotel sectors.
• Skilled in data analysis tools such as Excel and/or SQL.
• Proficient in business English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to link data to tangible business decisions and commercial outcomes.
• Proactive in identifying trends and providing forward-looking recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written & presentation).
