This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +31 more states.
• Lead and supervise drivers, dispatchers, and other operational staff.
• Oversee daily transit operations to guarantee safe, efficient, and effective service provision.
• Track staffing levels, attendance, scheduling, expenditures, and employee performance.
• Implement coaching, corrective actions, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
• Organize monthly safety meetings and reinforce adherence to company safety standards.
• Coordinate employee training, retraining, and policy updates to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Conduct driver evaluations in line with contract requirements and ADA, DOT, and FTA standards.
• Develop and sustain strong client relationships through consistent communication and collaboration.
• Assist clients with operational updates, reporting, process enhancements, and system improvements.
• Analyze operational performance metrics and identify areas for enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to contractual commitments, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Engage in startup activities, service expansions, and business development initiatives as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in transit management.
• Experience in supervising employees within a transportation or service delivery context.
• Proven ability to manage operational performance, staffing, and service delivery.
• Experience in conducting employee training and development programs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred prior management experience in paratransit, transit, or livery operations.
• Experience working with senior populations and individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Supervisory experience with hourly employees in a passenger transportation environment is preferred.
• Preferred experience in delivering classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training.
• Familiarity with ADA, DOT, and FTA regulations is preferred.
• Experience in data analytics, reporting, and operational performance management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and employee development skills are essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to administer coaching, discipline, and performance management effectively.
• Knowledge of safety and training protocols.
• Strong skills in client relationship management.
• Ability to interpret operational data and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with dispatch operations, map reading, and transportation systems.
• Preference for knowledge of two-way radio communications and demand-response transportation operations.
• Ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management capabilities.
• Capability to operate a company or rental vehicle in compliance with company policy and motor vehicle standards may be required.
