Manager, National Food Recovery Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Cultivate strategic partnerships with program collaborators (including retailers)

• Oversee the planning and implementation of Food Banks Canada’s national food recovery initiatives

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to create and manage program communication, marketing, and training

• Conduct ongoing analyses to proactively pinpoint program risks and opportunities

• Deliver training and mentorship to food banks to enhance relationships and boost engagement

• Lead the planning for program stewardship and recognition

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in program management, food procurement, relationship development, and/or fundraising/sales

• A completed undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• In-depth knowledge of Canada’s retail sector

• Outstanding interpersonal skills

• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities

• Proficient in effectively coordinating multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities

• Strong general computer skills with expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)

• Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
