This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Recruit and onboard a top-tier team of sales professionals, ensuring timely and budget-conscious hiring.
• Clearly define, manage, and empower sales teams to achieve all essential productivity metrics and growth milestones.
• Promote a systematic approach to pipeline generation by utilizing all available resources, including field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development to expedite new business acquisition.
• Formulate a comprehensive account strategy for the region that leads to effective execution and collaborative team selling.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering to provide exceptional product demonstrations and establish a repeatable technology validation/proof-of-concept program.
• Cultivate a robust partnership with existing clients, emphasizing value realization and customer retention through high renewal rates, swift upsell growth, and customer referrals.
• Accurately project monthly and quarterly revenue to executive leadership through meticulous deal evaluation and forecasting techniques.
• Build strategic relationships with current channel partners while also developing new channel partner connections.
• Organize Quarterly Business Reviews to assess sales productivity, execution of plans, and progress towards strategic goals.
• Identify, nurture, and secure new business opportunities at the executive level (CISO/CIO/CTO) within the assigned territory.
• A minimum of 2+ years of sales experience with a proven history of exceeding sales quotas in security, networking, and/or software solutions.
• At least 2+ years of experience in leading a sales team focused on generating new business and acquiring new logos.
• A strong hunter mentality: direct experience managing teams tasked with creating new demand, acquiring new customers, and generating new pipeline.
• A results-driven individual who holds themselves accountable for consistently exceeding expectations.
• Proven experience in closing complex sales involving multiple decision-makers in new or emerging solution categories.
• Experience in finalizing deals of varying sizes, from smaller transactions to those ranging from $50K to $100K.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with potential partners and customers at the executive level.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, adept at translating technical features into business value.
• Familiarity with consultative, value-based sales methodologies (such as Force Management, Challenger Sale, etc.) is advantageous.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced work environment.
